For many Early Career Researchers a career path as a bioentrepreneur is both: appealing and daunting!

Your former peer, Anna-Lena Amend, took first steps into the Start-Up world after finishing her PhD at the Institute of Experimental Genetics at Helmholtz Munich. Having a passion for translating scientific insights into everydays solutions, Anna-Lena joined LabBench2Business as an associate, supporting Start-Ups to thrive. Let’s join Anna-Lena in opening the black box of entrepreneurship where she interviews Finn Rieken from a perspective of an early career researcher about how to approach the process from a first scientific idea to bioentrepreneurship.

Finn Rieken is co-founder and CEO of LabBench2Business. With a background in Molecular Biotechnology from TU München, research experience at ETH Zurich and >10 years of strategy and innovation consulting experience for the life science industry with customers ranging from multinationals and investors to Start-Ups, he has extensive experience in entrepreneurship & innovation in life sciences.
