Career Coaching is intended to empower you to plan and take proactive steps towards your career goals - this can be achieved with the help of the Helmholtz Munich Career Center Team's extensive knowledge of career development and career opportunities in academia and industry. The Career Center Coaches will support you in all aspects of career orientation, decision making and application processes, as well as provide you with relevant information for supporting your career development.

As well as currently offering two different types of Individual Career Coaching Services (One-on-One Coaching and Online Walk-Ins) for Postdocs and Doctoral Students, the Career Center has also developed an Individual Career Development Plan (IDP), which will be accompanied by corresponding events (i.e. workshops, webinars, career talks). With this holistic approach (as shown in the graphic below) and the help of a specially designed IDP workbook, the Career Center Coaches will be able to support you in your further career paths even more than before.
