At the Helmholtz Munich Career Center, the term “one-on-one coaching” signifies a personalized and flexible approach to the personal (career) development of young scientists employed by Helmholtz Munich.

At eye level, coaches and coachees build a confidential and trusting relationship, in which you (as coachee) are able to discuss all matters related to your current and future employment and employability, receiving the necessary support to achieve your desired goals.

Together with your Career Center coach, you will not only be able to discover your skills and interests, but also explore and define values that are important to you. With this new clarity, you will be able to determine an (ideal) career path and establish how to go about achieving your dream job.

Our One-on-One Coaching sessions also include – but are not limited to – other topics, such as:

• optimizing your application documents
• conducting mock interview sessions in preparation for upcoming job interviews
• exploring your chances and opportunities in academia and beyond
