On Monday, 27th of April, the HMGU Career Center invites you to the Online Career Talk “Scientific career path across Europe towards a Head of Facility position” with Dr. Alvaro Crevenna.

Dr. Alvaro Crevenna underwent an exciting scientific career path so far - from PhD at MPI-CBG in Dresden, Postdoc at MPI of Biochemistry and project leader at LMU in Munich, Group Leader at ITQB in Lisbon towards Head of Microscopy at EMBL Rome today. Dr. Alvaro Crevenna will report about his tasks and responsibilities in the position as Head of Microscopy in comparison to his previous group leader position. Furthermore, we will talk about various aspects with Dr. Alvaro Crevenna, such as his decision making process regarding academia vs industry, relevant skills for the transitions and his experience of those, expectations vs actual experience of the new positions, and much more.
